As the title says, Virgin have anncounced plans to trial 200Mb broadband in the UK!

Indeed, though as the article says, it's all for naught unless a lot of data centres upgrade their links (which generally are only 100Mb)

But it's a good step forward, especially since the UK has usually been trailing some 2-3 years behind the likes of the Scandinavian countries in infrastructure terms for quite a while now.
